Mama's Matcha Party
recipes & party how-to's for my 4th matcha party, celebrating the mama's in my life

Seasonal Veggies & Ricotta Tart via Katie’s The Sunday Stack!
As always for my matcha parties, I go all green themed for the beautiful color of matcha. I usually use the same green tablescape items I have and change things up with florals or a bit of an added theme like blueberry, summer, etc.
For my planning my 4th matcha party, it happened to be on the same week as Mother’s Day! So what better time to invite all my matcha loving mom’s for a mama’s matcha party.

With the lunch party starting at noon, I wanted to give myself at least one and a half full days to prep. I usually make myself a workback schedule, counting each hour backwards with tasks to make sure I allot enough time between cook time, prep time, and tablescape. Here’s my schedule:
Day before party:
Set the tablescape:
Make the florals
Set every single dish out
Label your serveware for all your dishes
Do the food prep you can:
Make the deviled eggs filling
Make the caeser dressing
Chop the salad and refrigerate
Prep veggies and ricotta topping for the tart
Make the tiramisu
Day of party:
9am - Pipe deviled eggs, garnish, and refrigerate until ready to serve
9:30am - Bake the tart shell to dress later
10am - Set up everything for the matcha lattes:
Make the fresh whipped cream for the cloud foam
11am - Finishing the food prep
Cutting the wraps in half and plating them
Finishing the Ricotta Tart
11:45am - Finishing touches on desserts (stuff cream puffs and dust tiramisu)
11:50am - Set table
Noon - Guests arrive!
